Animation College’s Original Support System

Part of the reason that the number of jobs offered is 19 times bigger than the job applicants is due to the original support system at Animation College.
This is what we called ‘Career Support’. What do you want to become in the future, and what do you need to study to achieve it?
Let us introduce you the ‘Animation College Career Support’ system which would help you achieve your dreams!
A Curriculum that is Conscious of the Animation Scene.
Voiceover artists, Animators, and Cartoonists that are active in the front line all emphasize that the basics are very important. Individual characteristics are something built on firm foundation of skills.
What makes you capable to responding to various requirements on the scene is a firm foundation. In the Animation Department and Comic Department you will prioritize sketching and will build up your basic skills used for drawing.

Direct Connection to the Animation Industry!Support From Professionals at Work.
Animation Dept.
We invite people working in the industry to check productions and carry out mock interviews for an animation production company.
photo ■Receive production advice from people in the industry.
In the process of producing an animation, your production will be checked not only by the director and technical-director, but also by various other people such as the animation supervisors and inbetween checkers.
In the Animation Department we will invite people from various positions and ask them to check the student’s productions and to offer advice.
■Prepare for job hunting with mock interviews
We will have people from the industry provide mock interviews on our premises. Members of the industry who know what kind of personnel the industry are looking for will interview and will ask the students questions that are likely to be asked in a real interview.
After the interview you will be given explanation of the purpose behind the question followed by advice. Students will be able to reflect back to the given advice in order to be fully equipped for the real interview.
Comic Dept.
The first step to professional debut. Editors of comics and novels will give direct advice for student’s productions.

¦Year 1
The first step to production-presentation is to call a publisher. You may feel nervous to start off with but you will be given the opportunity to practice with school staff who will pretend to be an editor.
After practicing on the phone, we will invite somebody from the editorial department who will offer you direct advice for your production. And after practicing the presentation taking your instructor’s advice you will be given the opportunity to attempt another mock production-presentation and give a real presentation to a publisher at the end of year 1.
¦Year 2
The editorial department is always looking for appealing newcomers. Making use of what you gained in the mock production-presentation you will then attempt a real presentation at a publisher. If you are able to receive the business card of the editor, this could be a chance. It’s time to create your next production and make an appeal. Making a debut while still being a student may not be just a dream.
